DNP releases software update for photo printing kiosk

DNP Imagingcomm America Corp. has announced a software update for the SL620A photo kiosk, according to a press release. The new version 3.3 software provides a range of enhancements to the photo system based upon DNP's dye sublimation printers.

As part of the update, the panoramic printing functionality has been enhanced to add a CollageMaking feature. This capability supports two to 30 images combined onto one panoramic print for any of the supported print sizes from 6 by 14 inches up to 8 by 32 inches. The feature allows the user to move the images around within the layout or rearrange them as desired.

In order to improve user workflow, the existing collage image layout function for standard print sizes has been improved to accept as many as 20 images per page.

Other enhancements in version 3.3 include the ability to create prints in the popular 2-by-6-inch photo strip format, and the ability to delete orders after a print job has been completed in order to protect customer privacy.
