Discount Tire has called on Boston-based retail technology company OneView Commerce to enhance customer brand experience in its more than 875 stores across the U.S, according to a OneView announcement.
Discount Tire Chief Customer Officer Steve Fournier said in the company statement, "It was time to replace our legacy POS system as part of a multiphased corporate-wide transformation, and OneView will allow us to deliver a personalized customer experience that is aligned with our brand tenets and strategy. We believe that empowering associates to provide our customers with the information they need to make informed decisions anywhere and at anytime is what our transformation is all about. OneView was the only store solution delivering multidirectional, multichannel customer engagement that seamlessly utilizes the hybris commerce platform and interacts with strategic SAP products such as the Customer Activity Repository."
OneView's integration with the hybris commerce platform and SAP CAR are designed to capture and deliver content to and from platforms to enhance customer engagement. OneView enables clients to utlize mobile technology to capture data, track progress and communicate to customers. Its Commerce Store can be optimized to mobile, fixed, kiosk and smartphone touchpoints to build a digital hub of customer experience, the company said.
