Direct Source to feature Bouncepad kiosks at retail show

The company will showcase its services at the National Retail Federation Big Show in January.

Direct Source, a retail technology consultant and solutions provider, evaluates brands across POS hardware, mobile devices, enclosures, beacons, scanners, price checkers, kiosk and display technology, peripherals and related technologies. The company will showcase its services at the National Retail Federation Big Show in January, according to an announcement.

The company focuses on helping retailers optimize in-store experience, such as bringing the digital store experience into the brick-and-mortar destination.

A few of the brands that will be showcasing products in the Direct Source booth this year include:

• GPShopper – Offering an integrated mobile platform that includes solutions based on the latest in Bluetooth Low Energy beacon technology.
• Padloc Inc. – Offering new, customizable, handheld devices (mobile and fixed/secured) and interactive product displays. Padloc’s in-store tablet systems use a patent-pending imaging technology to deliver smaller packaging and highly ergonomic designs. Padloc will also show its tablet-based price scanners, information kiosks and in-aisle devices already installed at top retailers nationwide and available for iOS-, Windows- and Android-based devices.
• Bouncepad – Bouncepad’s tablet kiosks are designed to provide a seamless connection in the complex omnichannel retail chain, allowing retailers to embed digital content and technology into the physical retail environment.
• mPOS Systems, Sleds, Peripherals – Retailers are looking for new, cost-effective ways to help employees check inventory levels, create orders for customers to combat “out-of-stocks,” scan barcodes, print receipts and securely process mobile payments using commercial formats like the Apple iPad, iPod touch, iPhone, Windows-based or Android-based devices.
