Digital photo venture relocates to Dallas

DALLAS - Digital photo kiosk and mini-lab provider DigitalPortal Inc., a joint venture of SanDisk Corp. (NASDAQ:SNDK) and Photo-Me International (PHTM:L), has completed a move to Dallas, where it will be housed at Photo-Me's U.S. facility.

Launched in August, 2000, DigitalPortal plans to sell digital photo printing kiosks and a line of photo finishing systems manufactured by Photo-Me.

Photo-Me is assuming control of the financing and development of DigitalPortal, according to officials from Photo-Me and SanDisk, leading to the decision to relocate the facility from SanDisk's Sunnyvale, Calif., location.
