AVIX Technologies Inc., a company that identifies potential acquisitions and joint venture opportunities, has announced that Actus Interactive Software LLC, (ACTUS) the proposed wholly owned subsidiary of AVIX, has entered into a letter of intent with Digital Holdings Inc. (DHI) for the deployment of 500 Kiosks within 12 months upon execution of the definitive agreement.
According to a press release, the letter of intent between ACTUS and DHI provides the basis for a 5-year pricing model whereby ACTUS will supply DHI with content management systems and service, data and advertising management through a cloud architecture to DHI's hardware platform. The pricing model for this kiosk-screen deployment is based on a subscription per month basis with an initial charge per screen at the time of installation.
"The relationship with DHI is a significant milestone in the growth for Actus Interactive Software in North America," said ACTUS' COO Jay Hutton in the release. "The focus of ACTUS is to provide very strategic and ready technologies to support complex advertising solutions for a customer base seeking to capture consumers in retail and hospitality environments as well as other high traffic consumer locations."
He also said many of ACTUS' corporate customers are very sophisticated in terms of demanding a class of services that requires a highly organized effort.
"And in this case, ACTUS has partnered with a company who is capable to delivering the core systems on a large scale basis," he said.
The deployment and roll out of the 500 kiosk systems are anticipated to begin within 60 days subsequent to the definitive agreements being executed.
