Vending kiosk manufacturer Vengo Labs has partnered with Blackstone LaunchPad to deliver digital advertisements on vending kiosks. The kiosks will offer miscellaneous accessories and snacks, and their screens will display ads by businesses such as Hershey, according to a report by Ad Week.
The kiosks will be deployed at 45 university campuses across the U.S. including New York University and the University of Southern California. They'll dispense accessories, personal care items, snacks and other products.
Businesses can place their ads on a loop with the kiosks' display screens, and can also place their own products in the machine — or on it, with branded wraps — according to the report.
"With the real-time analytics, we can provide services from simply monitoring customers' gestures and purchase behaviors to sharing a ton of learnings with other Blackstone LaunchPad members to help them know what's working," said Brian Shimmerlik, CEO of Vengo Labs.
Vengo Labs was featured on the ABC TV show, "Shark Tank," where it won a $2 million dollar investment.
