Delta works to avoid kiosk crashes as it absorbs Northwest

USA Today: Delta Airlines is taking its time in its merger with Northwest to avoid the automated kiosk crashes that delayed flights when US Airways and America West merged in 2007. The new Delta has about 6,000 daily departures and 25 integration teams trying to avoid mistakes that led to system crashes during other mergers.
