On a bustling Sunday, lines at Orland Park's Jewel-Osco deli - the largest store in the chain and one of the busiest - can stretch 40 customers deep.
But an experimental "deli kiosk" allows customers to bypass the counter crowd lining up for cold cuts and cheeses.
