Customers can now print iPhone photos at kiosks

December 18, 2011

NK Works Co., owned by Noritsu Koki Co, has developed software for kiosks and consumer terminals that enables customers to make prints from their iPhones at retail locations.

Providing iPhone users with the ability to make prints from their iPhone images quickly and easily enables them to do more with their photos. Furthermore, retailers that offer this service will gain the advantage of having this work for them as a promotional tool for retail prints, and it is sure to spark interest resulting in more customer traffic, according to a company press release.

A software upgrade for the consumer terminal is necessary to support input from iPhones. After the upgrade, consumers may order iPhone prints in the same way as regular print orders from the consumer terminal by simply connecting their iPhone to the consumer terminal through a docking connector.
