Cure8, a prominent provider of cannabis security and technology services, formed a strategic partnership with Frank Mayer, a leader in custom digital kiosks and retail displays. The collaboration will be formally launched at the Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference in Chicago next week, according to a press release.
The partnership aims to combine Cure8's extensive experience in cannabis facility infrastructure with Frank Mayer's expertise in interactive kiosk technology. Under the agreement, Cure8 will utilize its industry presence to promote Frank Mayer's digital kiosks as a leading solution for dispensaries across North America.
Digital kiosks are increasingly used in cannabis retail for functions such as customer check-in, loyalty program enrollment, product education and order placement. Frank Mayer offers a variety of customizable kiosk models, including freestanding, wall-mounted and countertop units designed to integrate with major cannabis point-of-sale and ordering platforms.
Munir Haque, President of Cure8, highlighted the benefits of this technology for retailers.
"Every dispensary has a digital kiosk —or wants one," Haque said in the release. "They add to the stores aesthetics and emulate a high-end touch to any store they're in. They help stores reduce their labor costs and decrease the workload of their budtenders."
Since its inception in 2016, Cure8 has designed and managed technology and security systems for numerous cannabis facilities. Frank Mayer brings over three decades of experience in the kiosk industry to the partnership. The two companies will be present at the upcoming Benzinga conference for demonstrations and further announcements.
