Court kiosks in Toledo, Ohio updated with facial recognition

Self-serve kiosks put in place a few years ago in Toledo Municipal Court in Toledo, Ohio have been updated with facial recognition technology, according to WTOL-TV.

The kiosks reduce the amount of time the court spends with clients, especially those not likely to become repeat offenders.

The kiosks allow probation officers more time to spend and work with higher risk offenders.
