Conn. biz customers find kiosk at Staples

NEW MILFORD, Conn. -- A Staples Superstore opened Aug. 18 complete with a kiosk that enables customers to order from staples.com any of the company's 45,000 products not stocked in the store.

"We're looking forward to building strong relationships with the small business and home office customers in New Milford," said Doug Muckerman, store manager, in a press release.

"Staples is now making it easier for people living and working in the New Milford area to buy office products at a store that they know and trust," he said.

The store is one of 75 new stores the company is opening in 2003, and is one of more than 1,500 stores worldwide. Staples is a $11.6-billion retailer of office supplies, business machines and services, teaching supplies, furniture and technology.

A Staples business rewards card enables small business owners to track in-store, catalog and online purchases.
