Conductive gloves help touch screens adapt to chilly weather

November 7, 2010

Two gloves have been introduced that feature conductive material that improves the wearer's interaction with a touch screen in cold weather, according to gizmag.

North Face Etip gloves feature material known as X-Static fabric on the tips of the thumb and index finger while the Aglove is made with silver coated nylon to make the entire glove conductive. The Aglove claims to offer 10-finger functionality allowing wearers to type using full QWERTY onscreen keyboards like that found on the iPad.
