GRINSTED, Denmark -- Kiosk manufacturer Concept Kiosk will compete in Las Vegas this month at the world's largest photographic exhibition.
The Danish company will test its newly developed RCK100 Premier in the photo kiosk shootout, according to a news release. Concept will appear with its alliance partner, Storefront Inc., an e-commerce software developer. The RCK 100 Premier is a complete e-photo kiosk solution.
The kiosk allows customers to transfer digital photos via several methods: flash card, Firewire for video, infrared transfer from mobile devices or cellular phones, or USB 2.0 from a USB storage device.
The physical processor is a 2.4 Ghz, which allows for fast and problem-free processing of digital pictures or live video, the release said. The DVD burner allows users to burn DVD discs from their video cameras.
An integrated Webcam takes pictures of customers, so that when the customer returns, facial-recognition technology recalls the person and offers personalized service.
According to the release, integrated microphones and speakers offer users on-site help. Customers press the "help" function on the screen and are connected to service personnel, who can help through the ordering stage.
