Codigo to reveal digital signage software upgrade

March 27, 2017

Codigo plans to launch the fifth version of its digital signage software at Digital Signage Expo on Mar. 28-30 in Las Vegas. The software comes with an HTML5 content editor for digital signage and kiosks, according to a press release.

Customers can use this latest version to upload brand assets or integrate images, videos and shapes with their deployment. The system allows customers to create and control HTMl 5 content, and manage their devices through a device management platform.

"During initial conversations with customers, we kept hearing that the biggest pain point for users was a disconnected relationship between easy content editing control and visibility into device health for digital experiences and particularly kiosk projects. People were bogged down in a costly design change process coupled by a lack of transparency as to whether their devices were online and responding as intended," Brandon Bass, vice president of media and kiosk project lead, Codigo, said in the release. "With our new release, whether you are editing a wine list for a tablet presentation across hundreds of restaurants, or creating an office directory from one of our templates for a single building, changes can be made, scheduled and confirmed with ease and confidence."
