Students at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio can choose from over 4,000 card designs to customize their own greeting cards at a kiosk owned by Card Isle Corporation, a greeting card company, according to The Observer, a school newspaper.
Located in the Thwing Atrium at Thwing Center, users can take selfies at the kiosks, decorate the photos with digital stickers and print them on their cards.
The kiosks also provide an option for users to upload their own designs through the website. Once a card is selected, users can keep the standard interior prose, personalize it or write their own message.
The cost for each card from the Card Isle kiosk is $3.95, and each card takes approximately one to two minutes to make.
"It seems really good for our students to have it because it is a lot easier than buying on Amazon or having to go to the bookstore," said second-year student Michael Wu. "It seems they have a lot of choices, and they seem very specialized and very cute."
