Secure Bill Pay and Clearwave teamed up to offer health care providers a patient check-in solution designed to streamline the process and maximize revenue, according to a company announcement.

"We believe integrating our payment capabilities within Clearwave’s patient registration self-service kiosk will enable healthcare providers to automate critical processes while improving demographic data, reducing claim rejections, improving through-put, increasing patient satisfaction and especially maximizing collections," said Dawn Lunde, VP of sales at Secure Bill Pay, in a statement. "We were surprised by the very high adoption rate of the Clearwave kiosks – ranging from 88 percent to 99 percent of all patient visits."

Secure Bill Pay integrates EMV-ready technology in a software-as-a-service solution that issues electronic refunds, automated payment plans, maintains card-on-file, check scanning and more, the company said.
