CityKi goes with Netkey

February 20, 2002

BOSTON - Kiosk deployer CityKi and software developer Netkey Inc. are teaming up to provide inner-city residents with Internet services and retailers. Netkey announced on Dec. 4 that CityKi has chosen the company to provide software and services to its kiosk network.

CityKi launched its first kiosk at America's Food Basket, a grocery store in Dorchester, Mass., this fall. The kiosk was manufactured by Cybertotems and powered by Netkey software.

"Netkey software makes the complex simple, and allows those who may not have experience with computers to use the CityKi kiosks to access helpful information and services," Eric Bobby, CityKi founder and chief executive officer, said in a news release.
