Child safety expert joins Amber Alert kiosk systems team

December 21, 2009

Child safety program expert Linda Spagnoli recently joined the staff of Amber Alert Kiosk Systems as its marketing and media director.

Amber Alert Kiosk Systems founder Wayne M. Merry made the announcement last week.

With more than 25 years of experience in the field, Spagnoli previously worked with Code Amber, the largest distributor of Amber Alerts on the Internet, and has worked at both state and federal levels on legislative efforts to ensure that lifesaving information flows in a timely manner.

"I always look to assist companies willing to use cutting edge applications to accomplish lifesaving endeavors," Spagnoli said. "The technology Mr. Merry presents will streamline the delivery of timely information, utilizing those precious minutes after an incident occurs, in a manner unlike any other."

Amber Alert Kiosks are intended for placement in public areas such as malls, beaches and amusement parks to issue emergency alerts about lost or missing children. The kiosks also can be utilized by public safety officials to deliver information about events in the surrounding area to the public. The kiosks are monetized through a combination of common fees, sponsorships, interactive coupon applications and advertising.
