CES on the Hill invites ecoATM to exhibit for Congress

March 22, 2013

The Consumer Electronics Association, the organization behind the International CES, announced exhibitors for the 2013 CES on the Hill — with ecoATM among the list of product showcases.

EcoATM is a San Diego-based company behind recycling kiosks that buy back used portable electronics and mobile devices directly from consumers.

The invitation-only event provides policymakers the opportunity to interact with technology companies and products that drive some of the most critical and current technology policy debates, according to a news announcement.

"Companies with extraordinary technologies were selected based on their product's connection to today's most pressing tech policy issues," said Michael Petricone, senior vice president, government and regulatory affairs at CEA. "Members of Congress, key Hill staff and top media will get rare hands-on demonstrations of Ultra HD and new technologies for medical solutions, electronics recycling, energy efficiency and more."

CES on the Hill will take place on April 16.
