NEW YORK - NUWAVE Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: WAVE), maker of PicturePrep Deluxe digital photo and video enhancement software, has signed a licensing agreement with SoftwareToGo to sell its software on custom-made CD-ROMs at SoftwareToGo's retail kiosks.
Commack, NY-based SoftwareToGo's Product Preview Station kiosks will let customers preview PicturePrep Deluxe prior to purchase. After purchasing the software, the kiosk will burn the software onto a CD-ROM at a burn-to-order station. The touchscreen system, which debuted in 2000 at Office Depot and The Wiz stores, contains an online software inventory of more than 200 titles, and burns a CD-ROM to a customer's order.
PicturePrep Deluxe software lets users modify pictures and create video for use on the Internet. The software is available in Windows and Macintosh versions.
NUWAVE Technologies of Fairfield, NJ also makes VGE (Video Game Enhancer), a video gaming device.
