Canadian DVD kiosk company hopes to better serve customers with new technology

December 14, 2010

A collaboration between self-service entertainment company iMozi Canada Inc. and Esprida Corporation, a remote device management company, will help iMozi better serve its DVD kiosk customers, according to Soheil Samimi, president of iMOZI.

"The relationship with Esprida speaks to our continued commitment to utilize highly scalable technology that is supportive of our growth of DVD Kiosk deployments through strategic partnerships," he said in a press release.

iMozi 's DVD Kiosks will now be Esprida-enabled, which allows companies to more easily initiate advanced processes, automate manual system routines, create alerts, schedule events and distribute patches, updates and content.

According to the release, the technology provides remote monitoring and diagnostic tools that check the physical status of self-service equipment, allowing operators to remotely diagnose and resolve potential kiosk malfunctions before they occur. Additionally, it also offers enhanced ability for content management and delivering promotional and advertising updates automatically over the network to secondary digital screens.
