Cabinet-maker to present virtual room designing kiosk

July 26, 2018

Bella IMC, a cabinet manufacturer, will present a virtual room designing kiosk during the International Woodworking Fair, Aug. 22–25 in Atlanta, according to Woodworking Network.

The kiosk allows customers to create their dream design for any room  — residential or commercial — with cabinetry needs. The program begins with the entry of information such as room dimensions, locations of doors, windows and cabinets, followed by adding colors, textures and styles.

The kiosk will be shown in the Lockdowel booth. Bella IMC cabinets utilize the Lockdowel slide-to-lock fastener.

Chad Shelton, Bella IMC president and owner, said that a customer can lay out a kitchen of any size and change any of its features with the program's drag and drop function. The program can also remove walls, expand doors and change the lighting. Once the room is complete, customers can view their design with virtual reality goggles.
