Buy and fly with WebMiles

March 27, 2002

SALT LAKE CITY - WebMiles Inc. has signed an agreement with CenterlinQ to offer WebMiles rewards to malls participating in the CenterlinQ network.

WebMiles offers universal airline miles redeemable for free or discounted travel on any airline with no blackout dates.

CenterlinQ sets up shopping mall loyalty programs as well as public access touchscreen Internet kiosks. It is present in 33 malls nationwide and is under contract with another 200 malls to provide kiosk and loyalty programs.

WebMiles' strategy is to build a retail partner network that would enable consumers to rapidly earn miles by making daily purchases. Consumers can redeem their miles for free or discounted airline travel.

WebMiles recently signed a contract to extend its program to more than 300 Ralphs supermarkets in Southern California. Other WebMiles partners include MCI Worldcom, Avis  Rent-A-Car, Smiths Food & Drug stores, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and online partners such as Speigel.com, JCPenney.com, Nordstroms.com, Borders.com and Overstock.com.

Through the CenterlinQ partnership, consumers will be able to join the WebMiles program at participating malls, earn miles for shopping and track their mileage earnings online at the WebMiles Web site. WebMiles redemption begins with 8,000 miles, which entitles the consumer to $100 off the price of any airline ticket.

The program will also enable members of legacy programs to exchange points already accumulated for WebMiles rewards.

A GenesisIntermedia Inc. (Nasdaq: GENI) company, CenterlinQ is a rapidly expanding network that provides more than 33 million consumers per month with coupons, directories and quick-touch access to high-profile national advertising partners. Its kiosks provide information regarding the preferences and interests of the consumers who utilize them, enabling businesses to successfully target consumers likely to purchase their products and services in the future.

CenterlinQ was honored by Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) with the 2000 Retail Application Developer "RAD" award for "Best Retail Headquarters Application" in the category of Core Retail Marketing, its second such honor within three years.

Launched in January 2000, the WebMiles program features approximately 100 network Partners.
