SAN FRANCISCO - A 15-city U.S. tour called Style@Work, beginning August 21, 2001, is designed to promote Dockers and Slates clothes through fashion shows, tips, makeovers - and a kiosk.
According to a Dockers news release, the Internet kiosk allows shoppers to order Dockers and Slates products from jcpenney.com. It's part of the tour's 53-foot mobile showroom outfitted with mirrors, dressing rooms, a runway and selections from the fall 2001 Dockers and Slates collections.
The mobile showroom will spend four days in each market and visit high-traffic business centers, trade shows and business conferences.
