Boise Albertsons checking out of self-checkout

Three Boise, Idaho, Albertsons stores are getting rid of their self-checkout lanes, a spokesman for the regional Albertsons division has told the Idaho Statesman newspaper.

Albertsons LLC of Boise took over the local stores in March, and has started remodeling select stores, including removing the self-checkout lanes at three Boise stores and replacing them with express checkout lanes.
