Bluewater, a Sweden based provider of water stations that recently merged with U.S. based Flowater, has launched a massive water station with 12 in-line water dispensers to hydrate an expected 290,000 golf fans at The 150th Open in St. Andrews, Scotland July 10-17, according to a press release.
Measuring 16 meters long and providing two 55-inch outdoor television screens broadcasting content, the water station has been installed adjacent to the Mastercard Pavilion in the central Spectator Village at golf event. The solution has the capacity to purify and dispense over 6,000 liters of water every day of the event.
The "Wall of Water" is supported by 18 additional individual hydration stations sited at strategic locations around the St. Andrews venue.
The company also offers plastic-free stainless steel refillable bottles.
