StorefrontBacktalk: As EPCGlobal is still finalizing its High-Frequency Gen2 tag protocol standard, a source working with the group says the company is seeing speeds of 600 reads per minute, compared with the 100 reads per minute of today's HF tags and the 250 reads per minute of Ultra High Frequency tags.
