Bixolon recently showcased its range of mobile and printing solutions at Euroshop 2017 in Germany from Mar. 5-9. The company displayed its 3-inch thermal desktop printer, the SRP-Q300, which supports several accessories such as LCD displays, card readers and tablet stands, according to a press release.
The Q300 is designed to support dual band WLAN, Bluetooth V4.2 Classic and LE. Customers can also use Bixolon's B-gate connectivity hub to power several POS accessories such as LCD displays.
"Online ordering is fueling significant growth in restaurants today," John Kim, director of marketing, Bixolon, said in the release. "The SRP-Q300 with B-Gate connectivity hub enables printing from web and cloud-based applications. So all the restaurant has to do is attach the printer to the internet and it prints online order receipts as they come in—with no PC or integration required. It's a very cost effective way for smaller restaurants to support online ordering without a big hardware investment."
