Bill Butler to replace Tom Weaver as CEO at Kiosk Information Systems

Kiosk Information Systems has named Bill Butler chief executive officer of the company, succeeding Tom Weaver, CEO since 2012, the company announced. Weaver will assume an executive consultant role, and will continue to guide the strategic direction of the company.
Butler and Weaver have worked together since 2014, transitioning Kiosk Information Systems from primarily a custom hardware engineering and field services firm to a full self-service solution company.
"The investments we've made in acquiring staff talent to support a full solution strategy have been substantial," Weaver said in the press release. "Simultaneously adding professional resources in software development, engineering, managed services, supply chain and other support roles required Bill's expert financial planning and management."
Butler brings more than 23 years of financial management experience across many industries and markets, including Kiosk Information Systems, Flextronics, Crocs, Eaton and Illinois Tool Works.
"Bill will be very instrumental in our success as we introduce new self-service solutions into Posiflex's global distribution channels," said Owen Chen, CEO of Posiflex, Kiosk's new parent company.
