RANDOLPH, N.J. -- Kiosk Business magazine has announced the winners of its first "Best Designed Kiosks" competition.
Editor Mary Carlin said the contest's goal was to involve world-class design experts early enough in the process to shape the kiosks' evolution, according to a news release.
The Kiosk Business Design Excellence Awards represent the first time ever that a world-renowned panel of design experts has focused their attention on the kiosk industry. Judges included chairmen, CIOs, directors, and curators from the Smithsonian Institution, Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Rhode Island School of Design, Museum of Science, and Museum of Modern Art, all of whom have a special interest in kiosk design.
The winners, listed in the magazine's September/October issue, were picked from 55 entries and include:
