As part of the Bahrain eGovernment's Authority effort to provide convenient electronic services through multiple channels, the authority recently announced its summer awareness campaign at the Bahrain City Center through July 31st.

Its aim is to familiarize the public with available electronic services; the focus of the eKiosks payment services will ease payment methods of government services anytime and anywhere.
The 35 eKiosks are distributed in different locations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

"The eGovernment Authority is keen to launch this awareness campaigns ongoing basis in order to introduce all our electronic services and educate the public through the various channels, serving as a reminder to how citizens can utilize the portal," said Mohammed Ziad Asfour, assistant director of the Marketing and Awareness Directorate at the eGovernment Authority.

Mr. Asfour said that placing the eKiosk in public venues such as malls, hospitals, schools, banks and other governmental premises is in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030 aimed at providing government services to individuals and institutions in Bahrain.

Currently, the eKiosks are providing a number of electronic government services. Three of these services provide payment services to electricity and water outage complaints, renewal and payment of mailboxes, payment of criminal orders and more.
