Berkeley Heights, New Jersey-based Authentidate Holding Corp., a provider of secure Web-based software applications and telehealth tablets and kiosks for healthcare organizations, announced that Premier Inc. offered a group purchasing agreement to Authentidate for the supply of telehealth solutions in Premier's Physiological Monitoring Systems category, according to a company announcement.
The agreement is from March 1, 2015 through February 28, 2018. Under the agreement, Premier member hospitals, clinics and other health care organizations are subject to special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier to purchase all of Authentidate's InscrybeMD Telehealth solutions included in Premier's Physiological Monitoring Systems category.
The InscrybeMD Telehealth platform monitors patient vital signs and related data and sends it to their health care providers. Authentidate remote monitoring solutions are designed to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs and provide more consistent care for patients with chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Congestive Heart Failure and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease as well as wellness programs, weight management, tobacco cessation, and more.
The InscrybeMD Telehealth solutions deliver patient vital signs and patient responses to session questions about their condition to health care providers through the Web-based application. InscrybeMD's Electronic House Call, Telehealth Tablet and Kiosk devices connect to a variety of peripherals that measure patient vital signs. The InscrybeMD Interactive Voice Response service allows patients to respond to session questions and enter vital signs data verbally or via key pad from a touch tone phone.
