Helensvale, Australia's Steel Storage has opened a new four-story self-service storage facility designed to maximize rentable area and improve customer experience. 

The goal of the project is to improve facilities while providing an appealing design by eliminating drive-thru areas and loading bays in return for customized trolley bays and lifts. The project also called for the installation of a self-service kiosk called The INSOMNIAC, which allows customers to check-in, rent units and process payments and contracts round the clock, removing the need for additional staff, the company said.
