ATM service provider partners with casino kiosk company
March 27, 2007
WESTMONT, Ill. — Pendum Inc., a provider of ATM maintenance and armored service, announced a partnership with NRT Technology Corp. to provide service to NRT's line of multifunction kiosks for the gaming industry. The pairing of NRT hardware with Pendum's service capabilities is designed to serve casinos and other establishments seeking to maximize gaming activity and transaction revenue.
NRT's QuickJack Plus system allows gaming patrons to perform several tasks at a single user-friendly kiosk. Each QuickJack Plus unit is a fully functional ATM, giving patrons convenient access to their cash. The kiosk also has the capability to redeem slot machine tickets for cash, perform bill breaking and exchange foreign currencies. Furthermore, QuickJack Plus can be programmed to interact seamlessly with a casino's loyalty program. It was named the "Most Innovative Gaming Product" of 2003, and most major casinos in the United States already feature the QuickJack system.
As a strategic partner to NRT, Pendum is responsible for second-line hardware maintenance on QuickJack machines in nearly every U.S. market.
Due to the gaming industry's 24-hour operation and QuickJack's ease of use, the kiosks typically process an extremely high level of transactions compared to traditional ATMs in nongaming environments.
"The always-open nature of the casino environment demands that NRT machines stay available to customers at all times, and we embrace the challenge," said Fred Wich, vice chairman of Pendum. "As we continue to expand our presence in the gaming industry, we're proud to partner with a first-class company such as NRT."
