Atlanta cyclists can now repair their bikes at self-service kiosks at metro stations.

August 27, 2015

Atlanta cyclists can now repair their bikes at self-service kiosks at metro stations, according to a report by the Atlanta Business Journal. This deployment is being done as a partnership between transit company MARTA and the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition.

The first kiosk has been deployed at the Lindbergh Center station, outside the fare gates. MARTA will install kiosks at Chamblee, East Point, Edgewood/Candler, Five Points, North Avenue and West End stations.

"This is a small but important step in making MARTA stations multimodal, which will result in encouraging alternative transportation options," Glenn Kurtz, board chairman of Atlanta Bicycle Coalition and executive vice president at Lanier Parking, said in a statement.
