Armodilo tablet kiosks now support Microsoft Surface Pro

Armodilo Tablet Display Stands announced that its small footprint tablet kiosks, designed to accommodate a wide variety of tablet devices quickly and easily right out of the box, now have the ability to accommodate the Microsoft Surface RT and newly released Microsoft Surface Pro.

Armodilo's new larger kiosk head enables the tablet display stand to accommodate the Microsoft products.

"All Armodilo tablet display products utilize our Tablet Fit Kits, allowing each display stand to be customized to virtually any tablets on the market, simply by providing correctly sized inserts and frame to perfectly position the tablet inside the kiosk head," said company founder and CEO Iles Guran,in the announcement.

Armodilo now has two sizes of kiosk head available for its products. The original kiosk head offers support for tablets up to 10.1 inches, while the newly released version and Tablet Fit Kits support tablets up to 12.1 inches including the Microsoft Surface RT and Microsoft Surface PRO models.

Currently Armodilo products support more than 20-plus different types of tablets, and custom Tablet Fit Kit configurations are also available, the company said.

Each Armodilo Tablet Display Stand comes pre-configured with a specific Tablet Fit Kit for a specified tablet device. The Tablet Fit Kit consists of a custom set of tablet inserts and a custom frame, and changing future tablet devices is achieved by acquiring and switching to the new Tablet Fit Kit.
