Argus launches biometric Smart Kiosk

Argus Global, a provider of biometrically-enabled solutions, recently released a fully customizable, self-contained biometrics unit that the company said is set revolutionize fraud prevention in the retail and leisure industry.

The Smart Kiosk is designed to be flexible as users are identified biometrically and then presented with a display customized to their requirements. It can be integrated with an iris camera, fingerprint sensor, and face and voice biometrics. According to the company, this presents a wealth of opportunities for the retail and entertainment industries, particularly with customer loyalty, events access and member's areas.
