Job kiosk provider Apploi is deploying its kiosks in New York State career centers and reentry centers as part of a pilot project with the New York State Department of Labor and the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision, the company announced.
Apploi's kiosks enable job seekers to showcase their personality and skill set, respond to questions via audio and video and apply to, search for and locate job leads. Users can receive job advice and training offerings on mobile and desktop devices.
Apploi's data reveal that more than 63 percent of applications come through the kiosks and that employers benefit from a reduction in turnover on average 30 percent, the company said
