Amtek, a provider of kiosks, lockers and queue management systems, has developed pharmacy pickup lockers, according to a press release.
The company's PharmaLockers can be configured vertically.
Each master module contains 12 automatic drawers and can manage up to 10 slave modules. The front graphics are customizable.
The lockers are equipped with a video surveillance system that allows the operator to make deliveries safely. The software allows complete control of the Pharmalocker from the pharmacy PC or any iOS or Android tablet or smartphone.
After the package's storage in the locker by the shipper, the system sends a notification to the customer's smartphone containing the collecting code of the parcel. Passing the QR-code or barcode to the locker, the user can pick up the package and pay via credit card, app or smartphone.
