Alabama county tests voter registration kiosks

The Montgomery County Election Center in Montgomery, Alabama, will test a voting kiosk for the Oct. 3 election for city council district 4 at its warehouse at 871-A Plantation Way, the center noted on its website.

The center has posted a sample ballot for the election on its website.

Montgomery schools, meanwhile, have installed voter registration kiosks, according to a Montgomery Advertiser report.

Students used a kiosk to register to vote at a National Voter Registration Day at Percy Julian High School in Montgomery.

A partnership of Montgomery County Probate office and the Montgomvery Public Schools have procured 27 freestanding kiosks provided by Advanced Kiosks.
