Alabama college kiosk offers free 24-hour laptop rentals

Students at Northeast Alabama Community College in Rainsville, Alabama can get free laptops for 24-hour use from a vending machine at the student center, according to a whnt.com report.

Students enter their "my NACC" portal login information and the machine delivers a laptop. The kiosk takes their picture when they check it out and when they return it. It sends an email receipt to remind them to return the laptop.

The college purchased the machine for $36,000 using CARES Act funds.
