AIS intros multitouch panel PC

American Industrial Systems Inc. announced the release of an 18.5-inch all-in-onetouchscreen panel PC. The fully-integrated‚ power-over-ethernet, multicapacitive touchscreen combines an Intel Atom dual core processor N2600 1.60 GHz and projected capacitive touch technology in an industrial-grade LCD flat panel, the announcement said.

The AIS all-in-one multitouch screens feature open embedded architecture, advanced performance and connectivity, compact, fanless and rugged industrial design, the company said. Optional features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, camera, smart card reader, barcode reader and RFID reader.
