Advanced Data Systems automation suite offers enhanced self-service features for health care

Advanced Data Systems Corp. has introduced new features that augment intake capabilities for its Medics automation suite for behavioral health and addiction disorder treatment organizations, according to a press release. 

Secure intake improvements are facilitated through the system's MedicsKiosk, MedicsPortal and specialized apps compatible with iPad, iPhone and Android. The BH/AD organizations and the individuals they serve are empowered to be independent.

Upon arrival, patients or clients can use the MedicsKiosk for unassisted check-in. At that time, the kiosk users complete any forms, intake questions or assessments related to their visit. Information flows directly into the patient's Medics profile, eliminating paperwork and the manual input typically required of staff.

In advance, MedicsPortal users can log in and securely complete any forms and questionnaires required.
