ACI, LD Systems partner to offer bill pay at nationwide kiosks

ACI Worldwide, provider of electronic payment and banking solutions, announced a partnership with LD Systems, an international provider of ATMs, financial equipment and technology services. The partnership will enable LD Systems' clients to offer bill-pay options at kiosks across the U.S.

LD Systems's customizable kiosks contain electronic payment functionality for self-service banking transactions, utility payments, court fines and fees (civil, family, criminal), property tax, toll tags, DMV motor vehicle tag renewals, parking and traffic citations, and more. Operators can configure the kiosks for ATM functionality with cash-dispensing capabilities.

ACI's partnership with LD is intended to allow LD clients to gain access to the company's integrated Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment Services, which offers options for delivering electronic bills and receiving electronic bill payments. ACI's electronic bill payment services deliver choice of payment types (one-time, recurring, fee-based), channels (Web, mobile, IVR or call center) and funding options (ACH or credit, debit or prepaid), the company said in a statement.

"Many government municipalities and utilities lack the resources to develop advanced bill-pay solutions and recognize the significant value of utilizing a full-service payment services provider," said Cliff Dean, CEO, LD Systems, in the announcement.
