3M touch tech chosen for award-winning first-aid kiosk

3M Touch Systems today announced that its rugged capacitive touchscreen technology will be incorporated into POWER Products Hawk Healthcare first-aid kiosk.
According to a news release, the kiosk offers emergency assistance to the public in indoor and outdoor environments and features a built-in mobile phone and removable defibrillator. The integrated touchscreen provides a continuous on-screen presentation of instructions for using the equipment.
Tomas Pav, POWER Products' sales and technical director, cited the company's longstanding relationship with 3M as one of the reasons 3M's technology was chosen for the project:
