Marking the kiosk industry's shift toward smaller, more mobile hardware, 365 Retail Markets introduced its Gen3c kiosk at the 2014 NAMA OneShow in Chicago, April 9-11.
For the past five years, the Troy, Mich.-based self-checkout technology company has been providing unmanned kiosks for vending, food service and hospitality, according to a company announcement.
The Gen3c is the fourth installment in 365 Retail markets' product line, and its compact, small size makes it a "game changer," according to Joe Hessling, 365 Retail Markets' founder and CEO. "Over the past year, our customers have pushed us to pack all of our features into a smaller, more mobile kiosk," Hessling said in a statement. "With the Gen3c, we're doing just that."
What makes the Gen3c stand apart from the company's previous models is the ability to accept cash and print out paper receipts through a detachable side module, the company said. The Gen3c kiosk also has bilingual capabilities and email/SMS receipt options.
