The next step in self-service solutions is a convenient, secure, user-friendly purchase pickup station for buyers (both online and in-store).  Meridian calls it the  ReVolve – Safe Hold E-Locker.

“The solution is simple.” says Brian Sykes, Director of Marketing for Meridian. “Rather than chance missing a delivery, the consumer could have their purchases loaded into an e-locker for pick up at their convenience. It is fast and secure, but best of all - convenient.”

ReVolve is a secure, kiosk managed short-term storage solution that simplifies purchase pickup handling and tracking, avoids customer frustration in missed deliveries, and improves the overall customer experience.  The benefit to the retailer is ease of handling online and special order sales pickups.  The consumer prints (or carries via a smart device) his purchase QR-code, and scans it at the locker kiosk. The scanned code opens the locker, where purchases are.  The buyer can leave the store or locker location with no wait.  No congested store register. No frustration.  Closing the locker resets the code for the next order fulfillment.

“We think the potential benefit to market for ReVolve is huge,” affirms Chris Gilder, CEO of Meridian. “We are building several versions of the locker systems from the basic scan-and-pick-up to more complex payment solutions with drop-off and pick-up capabilities.  This gives the consumer and the retailer many benefits from store stocked inventory collection to website to the store type pickup.  We are looking to get the price point of the entry-level system such that you could order your lunch and pick it up from a locker.  I personally have bypassed many a sandwich shop after doing the drive-by line review.”
