ZoomSystems, a leading provider of automated retail solutions, yesterday announced record growth in 2009.
The nearly 1,000 ZoomShops deployed around the globe in partnership with leading retail brands generated more than $120 million in total sales for Zoom's retail partners, according to a company release. In a year when the global retail sector experienced significant contraction and challenges due to reduced consumer spending, Zoom's partners — which include brands like Best Buy, Macy's and Rosetta Stone — realized double digit increases in comp store growth in 2009.
Zoom's 2009 highlights also included opening 240 new ZoomShops in the United States and Japan and surpassing the 2 million mark in completed transactions.
