YouTube host slams self checkout, cites unfair theft arrest

A YouTube show known as the TEC Show has slammed self checkout at grocery stores, drawing attention to a woman in her 60s who was arrested for petty theft at a Walmart after accidentally forgetting to scan a few items at a self-checkout kiosk.

The host, David Clark, calls for more human cashiers and cites the potential security risks associated with self-checkout kiosks.

The show has 261,000 subscribers.

A number of viewers posted support for Clark's opposition to self checkout.
